Justin Tracy’s rich musical history begins in London, playing in clubs as a child drummer and eventually moving on to tour the jazz festival circuit, performing at the Montreaux, Nice, & North Sea Jazz Festivals. After moving to New York City, he developed a unique fingerpicking acoustic guitar style and worked as a producer for RJam Records and collaborated on his solo work with Grammy winners Michael Leonhart (Steely Dan) and Nic Hard (Snarky Puppy).  Credits on television and film include BAFTA-award winner “Fonejacker”, Emmy nominee “Facejacker”, and short film CAPTCHA.  Justin then spent the last decade perfecting and building his studio in upstate New York, writing, playing, and producing albums with artists Marc Delgado, Rory Sullivan, Amy Soucy, Matthew Hayes Jacobs, and Todd Nelson’s Jazz Americana. Justin is a multi-instrumentalist with a focus on guitar and voice, studying with renowned vocal teachers Melissa Cross and Marina Ahmad, and currently playing drums in the Marc Delgado band and Jazz Americana trio.
